Guidelines for Chapter Scholarships Available Statewide

Guidelines for Chapters

1. Scholarships must be available to Montana women.
2. Chapters with a scholarship available statewide are responsible for contacting the state president to obtain approval
3. Upon the state board’s approval, the state president will arrange for the scholarship to be posted to the state website.
4. Chapters will contact the state president annually by August 1 if they wish to continue posting to the website or if there are changes to the eligibility requirements or application form(s). Approval will be an annual process.
5. Scholarships must be held through the P.E.O. Foundation.
6. Scholarship eligibility, application acceptance, and awards will be determined by the sponsoring chapter.
7. Reports to the Proceedings and/or Montana Marguerite newsletter are optional.

Guidelines for Montana State Chapter

Chapters are responsible for maintaining current contact information and updated application forms. Chapters will notify the state president by August 1 with updated information and/or the request to continue posting the scholarship on the state website. Approval will be an annual process.

1. The Executive Board of Montana State Chapter will review and approve requests for posting the scholarship to the state website.
2. The Executive Board of Montana State Chapter is not responsible for requesting updated information from chapters regarding contact information and/or application forms.
3. The Executive Board of Montana State Chapter is not responsible for selection of recipients.
